Vision and Mission
Nordic Revival Ministries exists to reach the Nordic nations and beyond with the goodness of the gospel. We go to cities and countries across Scandinavia and Northeast Europe, lighting up revival fires and spread revival — seeing people saved, lives changed, and ministers raised up for the end-time harvest. Through traveling ministry, outreaches, media ministry, and a growing fellowship of believers, we are answering the call of Psalm 2:8 until every nation has heard.
Nordic Revival Ministries was born out of a vision God placed in the hearts of Tomi and Sanna Lehto 15 years ago while they were living in the USA — a call to reach Finland with the gospel.
During that time, Tomi heard the Lord ask him, “What do you want from your life?” He responded with the words of Psalm 2:8 — “Ask of me, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, the ends of the earth as your possession.” From that moment, a vision took shape: to reach Finland with the gospel and see revival spread across the nations of Northeast Europe.
In 2011, Tomi and Sanna returned to Finland and began travelling the country, sharing the goodness of the gospel. Out of that, River Church was planted in Helsinki in 2013. By 2015, it had grown into a church network spanning multiple cities.
Alongside the local church, River Bible Institute was established from the beginning, raising up ministers for the end-time harvest. The ministry has also included a TV presence across Finland, Sweden, and Estonia since 2013.
In 2024, the Nordic Revival Ministerial Association was launched — licensing and ordaining ministers and connecting people to the wider fellowship of the ministry.
